Ordinarily, wisdom dictates that one simply ignore such silly assaults as this, but it concerns me in the faceless ubiquity of the internet that there are people out there who might actually take such things seriously, if no counter is offered.

the real gorilla is moore's business

If you knew anything at all about Geoffrey Moore's business you would know that it actually has nothing at all to do with investment or the market. He advises companies on how to properly position themselves considering the nature of their product and market and where they are in the adoption cycle. Were you involved in sales, marketing, or future planning for a high tech business, I am sure that you would find his books to be very stimulating, irrespective of whether you had any interest in investing or the market. The piece that has to do with investing is actually something of an oh-by-the-way implication of his understanding of how this cycle works -- an implication which some of us find very enlightening, but we won't mind a bit if you ignore it.
