the local zoo is not too far from here, some 50k. Does that mean we would have some sort of immunity? Should we maybe go more often, to the zoo that is? Perhaps hanging around the camel pen might build up our immunity. Do you think sprinkling dried camel dung in adition to the gold dust on cerial in the morning might help?

I would think camelpox would cause more than a panic.

BTW, way back in about the second half of the 19th century, some folks had tried using camels in the Wild West as beasts of burden in the construction of the railways.

It was reported that when some camels were brought into Arizona and Texas, the local donkeys and mules stampeded/bolted off when they saw the camels or got a whiff of the camels' scent.

Maybe just a hint of camelpox can start a wild "stampede" for the vaccine????????????????
