Technically EDGE is ready for implementation in networks and terminals now ...

But nobody wants it!

I'd like to try to get inside that. Their FAQ indicates they crossed into double digits this year, but no numbers to back it up.

Looking over my notes....I see I left out the revenue breakdown for the Telecom division. The total sales were 2.2 Trillion Won....with handsets making up 1.8 Trillion Won of the total. I assume that the rest of the revenue is basically coming from infrastructure.

If infrastructure has a 10% margin.....handsets are at 17.8%.

Infrastructure 5% Handsets 18.9%
Infrastructure 0% Handsets 20%
Infrastructure -5% Handsets 21.1%
Infrastructure -10% Handsets 22.2%

I have no real idea where the infrastructure margins would be. They dont have much revenue so it is hard to see how they are profitable....but they do concentrate in one area (CDMA) so they have less R&D expenses.
