I am just cautious about the short-term prospects of the euro, but you may well have done the smart thing. You sell high and I buy low (i.e. some of what I sold I had got as cheap as $1.25; I do not know why the quote service I am using shows the low for the year as $1.71, since I just checked my broker's statement to verify what I paid, at least for one lot of 1,000). Too bad we can't pool our abilities! <g> Also, too bad that we suffer on the opposite sides of the spread and commissions, but I don't think that SI will let us start trading here.
