we should have finished him off while we had the momentum, IMHO. We would have had to go to Bagdad where he was. The UN mandate was to free Kuwait. If we went to Bagdad, all the current revisionist turned hawks, would have screamed bloody murder, the coalition could well have fallen apart, and the Arab soldiers, in the field with Americans could have turned their weapons on Americans. Do you think that would be a good idea?? Go back and study the times. I think you'll se that what many revisionist are now saying was just impossible AT THE TIME!
