Why should I put a monitor on a server?!? Servers don't need monitors. They don't need keyboards.

The server I will upgrade doesn't even have a CD-ROM drive. Who needs that on a server? Insert a boot floppy and run the rest off some FTP-server or webserver. If your internet connection is big enough, you don't even need to download Red Hat 7.2 - you just boot on a diskette and enter the ftp- or http-address of redhat's download area, and that's it.
