Month of Ramadan Off?

I find it interesting that we are hearing calls from Muslims that it wouldn't be a good idea for us to continue the war after the middle of November until the middle of December, because that's "Ramadan."

Does that mean that the enemy is going to respect our holy days? And what exactly are those for a secular democracy? I personally think that each and every day is a holy day for us, from Sunday through Sunday, and especially 9/11 which is in our holy month (aka September) of "Labor Day," has to be respected as one of the most holy days of the year for us. Then there is the holy month of Columbus (October), the holy month of Thanksgiving (November) . . .

You get the idea. I suppose if they hadn't attacked innocent babies, school children, moms and grandparents on one of our holy days in one of our holy months I might consider it. But now, to give the Taliban and OBL a "halftime" break in a few weeks? As for me, my vote is nahhh.
