There is NO subsidy of gold. Congress, the current President, the current head of the Federal Reserve & the heads of the current & prior treasury have determined the best course if for the Unites States to continue holding this "currency of last resort".

Try & start a "Sell the US gold reserves" movement, you'll get further starting a bowel movement - under all but a President who shows his sole success gage as an ever larger NASDAQ bubble.

Msg from ron-ron: It is governmint's role [to] prevent irrational fears..."

Sure ron-ron, especially after these fears derived from the corrupt
activities of this government see the light of day.

Sure ron-bon, best to prevent these fears from being realized
by the citizens of this government since it would damping
the re-election of these politicians.

Hard for me to choose, its either the duh'dumbness of Chatters,
or your continuation to convince us that the actions the usa government
are fully taken with only the best intentions of the public and not
simply for them politicians to get re-elected at any cost to right & wrong.

Oopsie, guess i didn't identify what the choose was about.
