Network Appliance CEO says plans no more job cuts

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Oct 22 (Reuters) - Network Appliance Inc.'s (NasdaqNM:NTAP - news) Chief Executive Dan Warmenhoven said on Monday that his company does not plan to make any more job cuts at current revenue levels amid tough times for the maker of computer data storage systems.

Warmenhoven said the company aimed to be ``marginally profitable.''

``It is somewhere in the range of 200, slightly under $200 million to break even,'' he said. Network Appliance's fiscal second quarter closes at the end of October.

The company said in August that it saw second-quarter sales of $200 million to $210 million and earnings per share of 1 cent to 2 cents, guidance which it has not changed.

Also in August, the company said it would cut 200 jobs.
