Having considered that, I think that Itanium has a much better chance of succeeding completely than it does of failing completely. Of course, I can see how you might think otherwise, given the delays of this architecture until only a few months ago. On the other hand, I have a feeling that by the time McKinley and Madison roll around, that the platform may have a respectable software lineup, along with some great performance, besides. wanna_bww
