I buy them via my broker ; they are no Load, and with waterhouse no transaction fee,
but unlike stocks I have to place my order by 2pm Eastern time and I get what
ever they close at ..in other words it's like trading , but putting in an order at
2pm to buy or sell at the close. ( with no commissions ).
However if a person "flips" a no load "NO FEE" fund to often, then waterhouse
can (with notice) charge a "fee" which amounts to $24 ..
