Nobody that I know is expecting anything close to the returns of MSFT's past. MSFT's growth rate going forward will be nothing close to what we saw in the past.

My beef is with the people on this board that constantly harp that MSFT is going to completely collapse, or that the stock will fall 90% or some other drivel similar to that. That's why I hotly defend MSFT at times, not because I have some unrealistic bull market fantasy.

So will I. But, I'll continue holding positions (such as MSFT) that I've held for 10 - 15 years. No reason to put a large % of my port in high growth / high risk equities.
