Are you forgetting Goutama's and Niceguy's prediction two
years back that once Intel's capital gains were used up
thier earnings would plunge? I would say Intel's drop


OK, but I prefer to talk operations. Intel's earnings from operations plunged because the economy plunged. However, they stayed in the black. Paul predicted a 3X as bad result for AMD, operations-wise, something I haven't seen anywhere else on any stock.
