In retrospect, if one of the companies I'd held came out with poor news I'd have sold, as I did in years past. But whether it was wireless, application software, interactive television, semiconductors or what have you... it all seemed to go bad pretty much all at once and had a paralyzing effect on me... I'd start to think, well hey, if it's everybody then it's not company specific and once the economy comes back or more specifically the tech sector... I'll be okay. Plus, I was on a phase III clinical trial of some heavy drugs for a year. I lost a lot of weight, some hair etc. I wasn't that sharp. And I pick a bad year to do it.
