I read INTC @80-90% of last year (company said it was undecided) and TXN 2/3 of last year (2H01 was 1/2 of 1H01, if I remember correctly). I think this supports a "bottoming" with bookings still falling moderately.

Not really. Remember, Rick Hill said in the conference call that chipmakers' capital investment levels had become "unsustainably low."
