I hope your Russian investment works out for you. I have a strong belief that corruption is one of the worst drags on productivity. So strong that it is inevitably fatal.

Mitch -- I truly wish you are correct that we can be decent and effective. What I am saying is that, personally, if neccesary to protect our innocent people, I would compromise decency for effectiveness. I hope it doesn't come to that. If the choice is that stark - either/or - then I agree. I do not accept the premise that they are mutually exclusive. There are many tortured veterans who currently live with the mental consequences of such choices. - Mitch
