I think that the golden rule applies here: I don't steal from people, because I don't want to be stolen from, I don't lie to people because I don't like to be lied to, I don't harm other people, because I don't want to be harmed. In general, I treat people the way I want to be treated. I interpret what our little terrorist friends (and their supporters) are saying as "we will destroy your buildings and people, therefore we want our buildings and people destroyed". I never did believe in that turn the other cheek approach.
