I really do agree. We are in for volaitile times. The potential for extreme moves have never been greater IMO. I've done my buying, I'm holding a diversified basket and I'm noy paying attention to the markets now. I will live and die by The United States of America.

I have been spending a great deal of money into the economy in the hopes that it may help someone save a job. It may be niave but I can live with the consequences. (My wife is loving it BTW)

I like this piece by one of your heroes<g>, General George S. Patton;
There is one great thing that you men will all be able to say after this war is over and you are home once again. You may be thankful that twenty years from now when you are sitting by the fireplace with your grandson on your knee and he asks you what you did in the great World War II, you WON'T have to cough, shift him to the other knee and say, "Well, your Granddaddy shoveled shit in Louisiana."

No, Sir, you can look him straight in the eye and say, "Son, your Granddaddy rode with the Great Third Army and a Son-of-a-Goddamned-Bitch named Georgie Patton!http://users.aol.com/ruddbaron/memorial/speech.html
