Take a breath. It'll be ok, honest. We're a big enough and rapidly-evolving enough civilization to handle these issues. Check the stock market for an indication the American people can handle what's been coming down the pike, for example. Even tho' I've been a staunch critic of the current administration, the job they are currently doing, coalescing the world into a semblance of economic, military order, is going unbelievably well.
