Elmer-- Re: market share Revenue per chip is not the determinant of whether a cpu "counts"-- the purpose of the device in which the chip is placed is. "PC marketshare" means personal computer marketshare. The xbox is not a personal computer, so it shouldn't count in calculations of pc market share. Embedded processors that are x86 based and socketed (in some form) don't count in determining pc marketshare. What AMD genuflectors would have done had AMD gotten the contract is not particularly important to the definition. -Eric
