First.. My msg to you was in regards to yours re: large amount of Gold Eagles being sold.
Nothing to do with the Japanese buying gold bars..
But, this article referred to in a message here on Gold Price Monitor

sez pretty much what I said.. Busy for a couple weeks.. Also note that $1.68 million US$ isn't really a very
big pile of gold for 13 banks to sell.. If each bank sold just 500 oz at $290 it would be $1.8 Million for 6,500 oz. That's about 1/10 of total US Mint sales of Gold Eagles in Sept. (worldwide)
I'm not trying to start an argument.. Just trying to keep some facts straight.. and help by sharing a bit of my knowledge and experience.
