I suppose you could have aborted it - the creation no one wanted and no one could love. Funny what happens when you least expect it.

I'd vote for just about any of the other choices before "The Matthew Shepard Memorial thread". That makes it look like it exist specifically for that purpose.

Your original purpose might have been for it to have been a toilet and some of the post probably belong in such a place, but non-moderated threads have their purpose set by all the participants not just the creator of the thread. There have been many quality posts in the 35,000+ that can be found here.

Personally I like Boxing ring as a thread header. You could drop the LWP if you want. I wouldn't object to "Mobius Discussion", or "Round Room: Penny in Corner ". "Barbie Doll Collectors" is just weird. Jerkville would atleast be better then that and jerks do post here but they post everywhere (even on moderated threads people might not know they are jerk until they post). I don't like Jerkville much but it's better then Barbie Dolls or "The Matthew Shepard Memorial thread"

Tim

I don't know why you're so surprised. All threads which encourage a fight in its name get good traction. OTOH, those sappy love-in threads usually just fade to black...
