SYNOPSIS: 1. Thur Evening: An exchange of words takes place between CMC and a poster. 2. Thur Evening: FL asks if he needs to step in. Answer: not tonight 3. Fri: FL asks both to not post for a few hours until situation is resolved. 4. Fri: FL expects to assign the usual 3 days "Jail Time" for Rudeness. 5. Fri: CMC does not cooperate and posts to another party 6. Fri: FL posts to CMC asking him to cooperate with previous request. 7. Fri: FL PM to CMC expressing displeasure over lack of cooperation. 8. Fri: CMC does not cooperate and posts yet again 9. Fri: PM to CMC expressing disagreement (see CMC post item 19 for text) 10.Fri: CMC posts "I am done here.", includes FL's PM (Item 7) 11.Fri: FL post to CMC: certain farewell comments 12.Fri: FL Excludes CMC from Foreign Affairs Discussion Group That is as pathetic an attempt at self-justification I have ever read. (By the way why don't you identify HG as the other poster? This gets more bizarre every minute.) You stated yourself you had not read the posts in question. Therefore, you could not possibly judge, even if you had that right, which I do not recognize, whether or not you are a "thread head." In my 3 1/2 years here at SI I have only established one thread. I intentionally left it unmoderated and many rude antagonists flooded it. Those are the risks of a free and open debate. You apparently cannot handle them. Now let's drop this subject.
