The newspaper like to "localize" national stories. They find a Texan preferably a central Texan to report a local angle or tie to the story. The only stories I can recall of the terrorist acts were from tourists to New York and the Staff members of the local congressman. All were witnesses only. The only people I know that were directly affected in any way were in the midst of travel and had their flights cancelled for a couple days. They had horror stories of motels requesting that they share rooms with strangers from other cancelled flights. TP
