I'm gonna do the following today: Short some soon after open (moderate position, but less than 1/2)..staggered entry (likely starting around 1725)

* If I get my dip, I'll cover 1/2, and let other 1/2 run until/unless I getted stopped a bit below entry...if we tank, at least I got a small position going..

** If we turn, blow back up through open, I'll defend (short) that 1750 (if we get there) quite vigorously...more than 1/2 position...since it'll likely cooincide with important levels for Dow, SnP too

The main way I can get hosed today is if we gap and run, but run through (and above) 1750 w/o pause....Since I see that as least likely possibility (given the long, basically-without pause run-up yesterday), I'm playing against it..

Lot of happy talk on CNBC this morn (yesterday talk was pretty negative)...talk by analysts saying we had a successful island reversal (and now up), and we are gapping up (which is opposite of the main up day trend, which has been down morning, and then reversals)...

This is my story now, and I'm sticking to it (note to thread: I switch on a dime, and if I do, I'll try to announce, but sometimes.....I don't get to it)

Who you callin' cheap!

At the open we have NDX jumping (gapping) back over the UT line out of 9/27 that it gave up on the 17th. Early bullish sign for sure.
