You can't bomb terrorist in to submission. Well, amigo, if America is to be called the Great Satan and the true terrorist, then that logic can be turned right around onto the hijackers and their sponsors, can't it? ;-). Keep the poems coming I like the gestures they come from a peaceful, happy place, good karma. The way you say it has merit and I see that. Only now things are not so easy. There is true evil and we cannot sit by and do nothing, watch while our friends and families are targeted for execution simply for having a different way of life, a different viewpoint. Simply because America has a mighty military and is so wealthy compared to others does not make the anguish of its innocent victims any less. Preventing further atrocities is a peaceful act.

Talking them into submission clearly hasn't worked for the British against the Nazi's, nor did it help the Israeli's against the PA, in Taba. Bombing them into submission worked on Germany, worked on Japan. They had brains, but they only listened to force. In other periods, the only way to get a group to listen sometimes was to make them extinct. I know we disagree, but I believe that many in the Muslim world want to make the West extinct, nothing less will do. Whether you want to call it an eye for an eye, or do onto others... my point is that you need to realize the goals of the enemies and adopt a strategy that negates their goal. Talking is not the appropriate strategy, unless you can tell me what phrase you would utter that would magically transform the Muslim world to abandon their goal of western elimination.
