>>said Frontline.

You mean, said Bill Moyers. That Frontline was his Demline. Bill Moyers is a rabid Dem and liar. The despicable Moyers goes way back in Dem circles and was behind the "Daisy commercial" that promoted the idea that Goldwater wanted to blow up the world. Moyers is an evil man.

The failure to inspect Saddam came under Clinton, not Bush.

btw, Moyer's son is just as bad and runs tompaine.com

A Left-wing extremist site.

Where he defames a patriot's name by his abuse.

E.T.

I remember at the time hearing quotes attributed to Saddam, about how U.S. presidents come and go, but he remains in power. Iraq was in no position to bargain at the end of the gulf war, the U.S. could have easily negotiated more constraints than was ultimately the case, said Frontline.

I might agree with this assessment, but who was actually calling for additional constraints at the time? Many thought he was so weakened that he would fall from within. That did not happen. Who were the advocates for further actions or concessions? I don't think the appetite was there and certainly was not present on an international front.
