AMAT looks like a possible short near here or near the 50 SMA, unless it decides to break out and head for the 200 -- in which case, the shorts could take vows of poverty. Some of them have already taken vows of poverty, so what the heck. They were so right, they were wrong. The market has a way of seeing to that.

Much will depend on the market. It's a stock market, of course, not a market of stocks. (I like to put that in from time to time.)

I'm not getting sell/short signals with the Naz yet. So I wouldn't short AMAT quite yet. I'd be cautious with it. But that's just my view.

I like the way Larry stuck to his guns. It pays to have a reliable system and follow it.

So what charts have I liked? You want to see a nice breakout from the lower Donkey channel and lower Boginller band? Take a gander at AWE. Awesome, ya know. It posted good earnings today, as might have been expected, after the selloff.

Buy signals from MACD, stochastics, etc., too. Does that mean it'll continue up? No. TA's a guessing game.
