You have no idea what the prevailing business "culture" is today. How would you? Typical demolib arrogance. I'm no benefits expert but I'm sure there are a number of reasons relating to tax treatment, ERISA liability and concerns, etc. Employee benefits like other employment matters must evolve and change if companies are to stay competitive in todays world. The fact that the company maintains a pension at all says a lot about the value it places on its employees. JLA
