Black- white romances seem to me to be the leading indicator Neo, that's old news. I have been involved in two black-white romances lasting a total of seven or eight years going back 20 years--with nary a visible raised eyebrow. I never experienced a single incident of hostility. I traveled a lot on business and often found myself in out in the provinces touring and dining with a black colleague. If anyone cared, it didn't show. Just because my old beaux fit easily into the mainstream culture, it doesn't mean that they haven't since cocooned with members of their own race, nor that their race isn't prominent in their identities.
