Tony,

And then Northwood gets it back. I still don't understand why you guys get so excited about the leapfrog game.

It may be just a coincidence, but notice the company that holds the performance lead gains market share.

I don't know about the rest of the guys, but some wks, my Viagra is more potent, and I get excited easily. Actually, for several months all we here have been hearing from the Intellibees, is how Intel has regained the lead, and was going to bury AMD. The truth is that Intel, as shown in the PC World ratings, never really had the lead, because these systems were pre XP, and AMD now has an even bigger lead, especially in price/performance. Several days ago, the thread discussed how the Japanese took over the high end car market. Actually they did it with performance, and good press. Good Power ratings, and Motor Trend achievement awards changed the perception. The same will happen here. Solid performance by AMD, and good ratings by the web sites, Anands, THG, ACES, etc and these magazines likely will do same for AMD. Price /performance with good press, normally will always overcome marketing eventually.
