Why is it cool or any better than existing file systems? It's a question of feature set vs implementation to be compatible of not. msft will pursue the incompatible path to lock out others. It may be that this time around with all the Internet connectivity that this gives many a reason to reject msft and use other more expandable feature reach solution alternatives. msft is the maker of the mediocre. As to innovation this is just msft attempting to reinvent what has been the norm in more advances OSes for decades. tom watson tosiwmee
