Hilton Hotels Profits Fall 66 Percent

NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. hotel operator Hilton Hotels Corp. (NYSE:HLT - news) reported on Tuesday that third-quarter profits fell 66 percent and forecast that it would break even in the fourth quarter as business continued to slump.

Alan, my mistake in suggesting you were missing something.

In fact, you are already taking the Israeli/Hisbolah view-point that the only way peace can come is when the opposition (and whoever else) is destroyed.

Trouble is the war is not going to end by the US simply sending a thousand paratroopers and thousand cruise missiles into Afghanistan. In fact, it's going to get a whole lot worse --- and not only in Afghanistan.

I guess one can call that collateral damage or maybe McCain's opinion is also just pacifist rubbish. (For what it's worth, he's a highly decorated war hero who, quite easily, could have become the President of the US)
