No, cleaning a gun is a hobby. I have done repair work on guns and the same as when I've fixed someone's tractor, I only charge what the parts cost.

Digging post holes and putting up a fence for someone is work. Getting paid for it makes it a job. Same with plumbing, wiring, carpenter work and concrete finishing.
