OT: AMZN Earnings
Does anyone here have a comment about AMZN earnings today, or is this now simply a board for pseudo-intellectual political commentary?

Bob,

I would be pleased to discuss Amazon's numbers. I am not sure where we should start. Cash burn continues, gross margins dropped, expenses as a percentage of revenue dropped, there is inadequate cash to make it through Q1 2002 and there is no defined business model.

Please choose an area and I would be happy to engage in hopefully helpful comments. I am currently listening to the conference call and it sounds like an advertisement rather than a prepared speach about the business plan.

Maybe I can start the ball rolling. What is the goal of the firm Amazon as a business?

Glenn
