Since 1937 AFTRA has been administering and negotiating contracts for all live and taped radio and television broadcasts, phonograph recordings and video and audiotape productions. Every voice and image that flashes across your radio dial or television screen is a member of AFTRA. Everyone from Howard Stern to Rush Limbaugh are card-carrying members of this union. To get your own membership all you have to do is simply pay an initiation fee (and your dues), and that’s that. AFTRA’s initiation fee is $1,000. The basic dues for a six month period are $58.

I'm sure RUSH won't dis the Unions like the JADED LOUSY LAWYER.... don't ya love those stats by watnut?.....93% of them Publicans..... why they think W is so great after he screwed Colin Powell from DAY 1 in his administration.....and depended on Rice cakes as the one that led (by the nose)him down the primrose path of UNILATERISM!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah......the Zealots from the right wing ought to be RIGHT proud of how they hung Powell out to dry while casting aspertions on every ALLY we ever had, only to be caught crawling back to them to ask them to join his coalition.
