On cost of producing oil:

I'm no expert, had hoped to meet some here.

But from some US hearings, etc I have seen some factors like:

- cost of refining (for example norwegian oil vs russian, sulphur, cracking, gas, pipes, etc)
- cost of finding more after present resources are empty, like venezuela, mexico vs SA.

That is , "they" are not a homogenous blob, and this, just like the old roman and english
proverb of "divide and conguer" can be both used and abused to its limits.

Please try to define comments in at least two classes:

- those who do not agree on my view on the oil-business
- those who agree on it and disagree on my conclusions

Best responce would be someone who woul correct my basic assumptions or add to them.
(for example how caspian oil and the delivery of it to paksitan, india, china, changes the equation)
