I have the same question as combjelly, which is about the various stages of the pipeline, their timing, and if there is are all running at the same clock speed, or possibly some parts of the pipeline running at say 1/2 of the nominal clock speed, others at 2x the nominal clock speed.

Why would they put the times in nanoseconds on the right side of the pipeline description? It seems to have created a lot of confusion. Why not just forget any units of time, and just leave the unit to be the clock cycle?
