Glenn and others,

It appears, amazingly, AMZN is over 9 after hours now. I could close my long position at even money and hope for an open at or below 9 to get out of my puts.

Any opinions on AMZN price action tomorrow? (Beats throwing darts)

Looks like all the wires are saying AMZN will make a profit next Q in their headlines. Average investors (100-1000 share buyers) may not worry about AMZN now and buy tomorrow.

Whatever happened to GAAP profitability anyway, is that for Q4 2009?

Can you see any reason at this stage for the brokers to still pump this stock? I see ML still is, but he has zero credits left in my book due to his insane price targets.

Blodget's track recored speaks for itself anyow.

Seriously though at one point I would say they were holding AMZN up and saying good things in order to get secondary offering business (theoretically) and that sort of thing. That seems impossible now, so it amazes me that more analysts won't come out negative.

Mybe there is still hope for an investment banker to raise some cash at some point. It will not be Morgan Stanley due to the prior and current lawsuits regarding Mary Meeker when the second series of junk bonds were offered. ML would have a good shot at that business.

I am clueless about the rest of the analysts.
