Does, "I don't know" mean you don't have a clue about what the U.S. should do? The U.S. had a mandate to drive Iraq out of the country they invaded and occupied. That's all, I don't like sanctions either. Mainly because I favor going straight to bombing. If sanctions are hurting innocents in Iraq, their leader should spend the oil money to help his people instead of making weapons. We do need the oil but we have the power to screw with the Saudis anytime we want. 51st state-wise, how does East Arizona sound - or New New Mexico? Afghanistan is a cartographer's invention. It will not become a "nation" in our lifetime. I would be interested in your account of how Afghanistan will function and prosper in the future.
