Daschle (D) who first agreed to the same, but flipped for political reasons, belittling and distracting everyone from the threat. "It's 100% treatable."

After Senate majority leader Daschle's (D-SD) political charades (joined by Sen. McCain), nobody thought anyone had anything to worry about...

Including, perhaps, the two postal workers in D.C. who died, and those medical professionals who treated them.
