NRA Mocks 'Ludicrous' Lauer, Gephardt, Donahue In an article headlined "When Brains Go on Vacation," the National Rifle Association ridicules "ludicrous" statements made after the terrorist attacks. The November issue of the NRA magazine America's 1st Freedom offers these gems, among others: NBC "News" morning gabfest host and tabloid cover boy Matt Lauer saying "pilots are human beings; they get depressed; they get suicidal; they get angry.
