gere may be good at make believe and delivering scripted words, but he seems to have no sense of how to express himself live to those who have experienced real personal tragedy. I heard his remarks and did not really understand what he was getting at. But many present obviously felt he was out to lunch. The way he jumped into an ambiguous message without any preface was not to swift.
