Did you see the link that kholt posted today when she found a pro-muslim tract?

Ah, you looked at it. I was particularly fascinated by the picture of the featured woman. She was beautiful. In a very European way. In a made-up Nordstrom's way. Tweezed eyebrows, rouge, either eye liner or mascara, at least. She seems even more incongruous sized larger in the printed version.

YYB, I decided to post my private message to you for the sake of discussion and that others might better understand my beliefs, for better or worse.

Thanks YYB. It is becoming clear to me as I learn more about Islam and it's practicioners that like the Bible, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Or put differently, in the mind of the interpretor.

The Bible was a call to action to Mother Teresa and the Crusaders, and the witch hunters of Salem. Same book, same words. I see the same with Islam.

I have come to believe that at the end of the day, God, as "He" is spoken about by all religions is the same God, looked at and described from different angles. IOW, there is one God, many different understandings. None right, none wrong, all transcended by "universal truths".

Thank you for the link.
