Joe, the market did indeed come down from the bubble highs and did so until the election. since then the market has been a disaster area, look at the charts, and the worst came after Bush and co. announced their plans Jan 20

Bald Eagle should talk about closed mindedness. Anyway, I wish to discuss the issues and all of them with you. The stock market was way overpriced at 5000 and came down to Earth preceding the election and since has been in freefall, this does not give a vote of confidence that our leadership has a clue of what will work and make the GDP grow. Or am I missing something? Do the money people see all this tax cutting and corporate welfare and deficit spending as a boon, if so why does the market keep making new lows? So you see the people with the bucks see a losing proposition so far otherwise they would be investing heavily, my lord they can't be happy with 4% cd's which is what they are getting. It is the right wing that doesn't get it and the Admin that doesn't get it.
