Thanks for responding. I think I will try to send an e-mail to yahoo. Perhaps they may have an answer. While I was updating to the new version I canceled it and now have lost the sound on my laptop. I notice that the system tray does not have the sound icon. Any ideas at to how that may have happened and more importantly how do I get the sound back???

PS using win 98

I managed to get the sound back by restarting the computer.
