I generally prefer bread to bombs, too, but sometimes there's dirty work that just has to be done. And look what the Taliban are doing with the bread... destroying it and saying that their people reject what we send over. I have no compassion on people who are willing to let little Hitlers grow up into big Hitlers, because that shows a lack of respect for me and for those who I hold dear. We'll end up paying one way or the other, I just don't want to pay a great amount of interest. Sometimes those who appear to value life the most actually value it the least because they are unwilling to make the hard choices. But I will agree with those who suggest that we need to understand this enemy of ours. What makes him tick, and what message does he deliver that allows him to recruit a lot of seemingly intelligent individuals. Don't just write him off as an evil person who must be destroyed, because the idea behind him may well resurrect itself in some other form after he's gone. These comments aren't directed at anyone I know, so please nobody take them personally.
