Hi Addi; Okay, so now you say that the Islam practiced in the United States is not the same as the Islam practiced in, for instance, Iran. This is in contradiction to what you wrote earlier, which was that Islam had the same message of hatred to all:

"Islam has the same message of hatered whether you are an illeterate or if you are a Physics nobel prize winner. And if you do not believe this all you have to do is to read Koran (in your native language that you feel most comfortable with - e.g. English) to understand the satanic hatered it promotes. And that should not require a PHD in rocket science but rather simple ability to read." #reply-16543406

Now you say: "Islam is not just about the translation of Koran that you posted by some Harvard professor. ... In Islamic countries (the likes of Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Sudan, Algeria, and the rest) Muslims do not follow your - and your Harvard professor’s interpretation of Koran ..." #reply-16548529

Okay. So now the deal is that I only get to use translations of the Koran from Arabic sources? Obviously you are unfamiliar with my arcane ability to drag links up out of the internet. So lets look around for translations of the Koran in Saudi Arabia. To add the restriction that a web site originate from Saudi Arabia, simply add "site:.sa" to your google search link. (To get Iran, use "site:.ir" instead.)

Here's one from the "King Fahd University of Petroleum and Mining" ( kfupm.edu.sa ). They're located in Dhahran, in Saudi Arabia on the coast of the Persian Gulf. And here's their "Islamic information" web site:

"In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful"
kfupm.edu.sa
kfupm.edu.sa

And their English translation includes three different versions, all of which are in substantial agreement with the version I quoted from:
kfupm.edu.sa

Now. Three times I've asked you for the source of the anti-Islamic filth you posted here: #reply-16543503 But still you have not yet given a source yet for the translations of the Koran that are so "satanic".

But lets take a look at the sources that you did provide links to:

(1) members.aol.com

Go to the root page and you find this message:
"This page has moved. The new location is www.islamreview.com "
members.aol.com

Click on the above link and you find:

"Our purpose is to demonstrate that the fundamental teachings of Islam, as shown in the Quran and the Hadith, and taught by Mohammed, are both anti the Christian faith, and also anti the American way of life."
islamreview.com

In other words, you posted a link to a fundamentalist Christian organization bad mouthing the fundamentalist Moslems. We know about fundamentalist Christians here, they kill gays and blow up our medical facilities with some regularity. But we don't use this fact to conclude that the Bible is "satanic", nor do we extend our approbation to all Christians, or even to all fundamentalist Christians. Heck, I know plenty of them and the vast majority of them are peaceful, just like the Moslems I know.

(2) The next link was to MSNBC, and while I know that while Microsoft and NBC have never published anything that was anything other than completely true, I suggest that maybe, just this once, their article on the mindset of suicide bombers may not be factually correct, and in any case, it doesn't have much to do with Islam or what is or is not in the Koran. The link wouldn't work for me.

(3) ou.org This is an Israeli organization, "The Israel Diaspora": ou.org They're in the middle of a cold war with Islam, so I'm not certain that their views are entirely neutral.

(4) newadvent.org This web site ( newadvent.org )is a Catholic web site, and while at least they're not currently fighting Islam, they are certainly competing for souls, and are not likely to be entirely neutral.

(5) hindutva.org This web site ( hindutva.org ) is a Hindu web site, and since the Hindus are currently running a cold war against Islamic Pakistan they're not likely to be producing an entirely neutral viewpoint either.

In short, your sources are biased, and so are you. Read what you wrote, for God's sake: "The issue at hand was Islam and its danger evil ways to the world."

Your head is so full of propaganda that there is not even room for you to recognize that you still haven't given me a link to the "satanic" Koran you talked about. So where is this translation? I don't need to "mock" you about your bigotry, all I have to do is quote you.

Re: "If you honestly believe that you can go and stand in front of Muslims in any of the Islamic countries ..." That's a hell of an argument, though I don't understand the logic. But if you honestly believe that you can go and stand in front of Americans in any of the 50 states and convince them that Islam is satanic, then you are too filled with hate and bigotry to understand your own limitations, or our strength.

Re: "And for what is its worth I strongly suggest at some point in your life to travel out side of the U.S, and learn about other societies such as the Islamic countries of this world, and see things for yourself first hand." Been there, done that, but I'm not going to talk about it in public. Suffice it to say that I was married outside the United States, and I've been in a mosque outside the United States.

Re: "Do not hide your head in your idealistic sand ..." If you go back and click on my other posts, you will soon lose the notion that I am at all idealistic, or that I hide my head in the sand. What I am is realistic, and America's tolerance has been very successful. Why do you think Iran is still so backwards? Your country is thousands of years older than ours, how come it's not thousands of years more advanced?

Re: "... and instead try to learn about their cultural, and social backgrounds, and learn about how the Islamic framework has brought so much harm to them – and to the world. And perhaps then you can learn of the realities of this world." I'm not sure what you're getting at here. I doubt that the best way to deal with Islamic fundamentalist terrorism is to start by assuming that everyone from Morocco to Pakistan is a religion-crazed zealot and needs a fatal dose of beta particles.
