To me American culture does not just accept but celebrates the best parts of all cultures and enjoys sharing elements of different cultures. But also one must realize that in this celebration understanding that the maximum opportunity to share and understand is in being able to communicate efficiently. Those who don't learn the language of America will be denied the opportunity to share in the celebration of the best of American culture.
