Debka, on the other hand, says all the scolding is for public show; but the real pressure is on Arafat. Just MHO. And like a stopped clock that's right twice a day, I think Debka's absolutely correct in this particular assessment. Diplomatic distraction... Have people focus on the how badly you're scolding the Israelis, while you privately tell Arafat that if he doesn't get things under control that you're going to stop pressuring the Israelis, and in effect, turn them loose.
